Yes - driving a supercar in central London automatically labels the driver an ignorant tt. It's the equivalent of wearing a wetsuit to work. Totally unnecessary not to mention uncomfortable.

Swiss Alps or similar wide open spaces - different story.
yeah fk them for driving a car they own where they live

the retards at the side of the road jumping in front of buses to take pics caused this attitude towards london supercars, not the cars.
You don't think its in any way encouraged by the some of the owners parading past the well known hot-spots? Or do they just have to nail it past Harrods going about their normal daily chores hehe

It's the tools in the cars that provide the 'spectacle' for the guys that film it. If they all drove within the boundaries of what's normal then they wouldn't film them.

it has mountains of soul and just as involving at humdrum speeds as when driving highly illegally. That's what manufacturers need to concentrate on, not Nurburgring lap times.
But improving 'ring lap times sells cars and in most cases at the expense of diluting driving involvement.

Think my 'supercar itch' zenith would be a nicely fettled 308
Good choice! IMO 308/328 is probably the most desirable car of all time. I have a bit of a fancy for a 458 but won't actually be buying one I don't think.

Whereas the ostentatious TVR is not totally unnecessary or uncomfortable?

Not in the same league as the machinery being discussed here and I don't live in Central London or lap Harrods 5 times a day. But apart from that you have me.

Even if I could afford one, which I most certainly cannot, I would take a classic over a super car every time. Certainly never seen the point of owning a super car in Central London?

Shmee....... It's all his fault.

Interesting how the hunter has turned into the hunted with his throbbing 675LT now parked up in the same spots he used to spot at.

Based on your logic it is very much is 'look at me in my pretend supercar' - you can live where you like but the reasoning is the same.

I bet it is decatted too - just to make sure everyone looks?

You see how your logic is flawed as I'm sure you bought the TVR for yourself and not other people?

You seem to think I'm saying that all supercar owners are tts. I'm not saying that and have never said that.
I wouldn't be surprised if most of them would avoid Central London like the plague.

The ones that live in or drive in Central London with supercars regularly - showing signs of tttery.
Ones that show off to tourists and fools in tiny crowded city streets - no question.

Hope that clears things up and you enjoyed my Profile - thanks for visiting thumbup
