0-62 in 4.7 seconds? LMAO. There's diesel-powered BMWs out there that would stay in touch with it off the lights. Slooooooooow...
Didn't you read the article? Totally, utterly missing the point.

This is for people who want a N/A engine that comes alive over the last half of the rev range, something that tingles the spine just before the redline. Traffic light Grand Prix against some tuned dag dag are not what it's about. It's a left field choice but a very, very interesting option within it's segment.

You can't deny just how brutally effective the latest turbocharged engines are, but a car needs to have a bit of soul too.

Yeah, but if you had one of those, you'd be stuck in a diesel-powered BMW.

I'd certainly have one of these over any of the competition if I could afford to spend such money on a fast saloon.

Exactly. This isn't a car to play Top Trumps with. If anything I would say it's a car for those who are bored by the rest of the segment and are looking for something different.

I like the way that Lexus continue to follow their own vision rather than chasing the crowd.

I would be interested to know how well they are doing in the UK versus previous years. Certainly I see a lot of IS and NX about and I have seen a few new shape GS as well. (I am in London/South East.)

It's a pity they haven't done an replacement for the ISF. The GSF seems a bit too big for me, I rather like the size of my ISF but a modern version with a bit more power would have been nice to try. In a world of clinically fast forced induction engines it's nice to see a NA V8.

I've yet to even see one, let alone meet an owner.
