Also supported now, love Landies, love Lego, I think this would sell like hot cakes. Love the off road version smile

Thank you patmahe we appreciate it when anyone takes the time to support us. The off road version is proving very popular but just another way to show how versatile the Land Rover model is smile

Nice.
But is it a Lego LandRover or a Legoland Rover?
The two are not the same!

Hello,

We would say it is a Lego Land Rover, but so long as you support us you can call it what you like wink

Love the project, and how the factory finish remains consistent with the original !

I think the bodywork looks good but the wheels are too close to the body. Could do with some extra clearance.

Everyone likes to be critical.

But I am very supportive. I'm in.

Thank you for your support and feedback, we do appreciate both. We want to get it right. Someone else gave us the same feedback early on in the project and we did raise the body - it is on the update page on Lego Ideas as you can't change your original submission photo so it all goes on there. smile

Are the specialist Land Rover magazines aware? Another thought is that Richard Hammond and Doug De Muro (American auto writer) are LR fans, it might be worth emailing/tweeting them.

Hello, we are hoping to get something in the Land Rover magazines. Thanks for the other hints too, will give it a try. Anything if it keeps support growing! wink

Fantastic project guys. My lad has the F40 and numerous larger pieces of technic but this will definitely be going in the collection once available (hopefully) along with the Caterham. My dad used to work at LR on both the Defender and Discovery assembly lines so has an extra resonance also.

As someone who grew up the 80's I'm also rather liking this

I challenge anyone who watched not to have the theme music running through their head right now.

I don't normally sign up to sites just to vote, this time is different.
