Who uses rover 600s as courtesy cars?
Small long-running local that I used to do a few jobs on my mums MG ZR. The 600 had been p/x'd against a ZT they sold a few days ago and as their normal courtesy car hadn't been returned they gave me the 600 to use. In fairness it was actually quite a nice car to drive / waft around in tbh boxedin
I had 3 Rover 600s over the years. I loved them. I didn't buy them new as I was far too young, but they were an awesome amount of very well-put-together car for not a lot of money. The 620ti was pretty quick too, and IMO looked nicer than a similar spec Saab which PHers love. They're just Honda Accords with more power, a Torsen diff and at the top end of the interior trim options you could get with the Honda.

I see potential as the Mk3 headlamps are possibly the worst design aspect of the car. As standard they simple look like blobs installed after the rest of the car was drawn

If the eyelids were blended in it would help the profile and shape.

Speaking of blended in eyebrows, (don't know if this has been mentioned yet) but does anyone remember those 'bad boy bonnets'. A normal bonnet with metal eyebrows welded and blended into it.

I used to see horrific examples of this done with filler and presumably some sort of substrate for the filler to stick to. Cardboard maybe?

I've not seen a car on the road with the angry eyes mod for 10+ years though. Most manufacturers seem to have adopted this look from the factory.

Looking at that reminded me of the twin headlight conversion to some Fords.
Always looked wrong to me.

It's a very popular mod for the mk7 fiesta, along with RS spoilers and fitting ST bits to a zetec and led halo lamps
