Most of the time, for most people, journeys are short, routine and predictable. In terms of the effect on the grid, people suddenly needing to go to a fast charger on a whim is not really an issue.

Great to see that someone took off where saab left it.

I would imagine that saab could noty overcome some of the development and driveability issues with the technology available at the time.

Now we have better engine management, knock detection, direct injection, drive by wire etc it may have enabled this technology to be perfected.
