replaced it with a Tesla S 90D and love it!
Not you as well!

Mate who was a serial Audi RS nut has just bought one of these milkfloats. He loves it too. (I miss the racket of his RS4 V8.)
Yup, for daily I cant think of a better car, tech, refinement and ease of use off the scale.

Still got plenty of other noisy stuff!
You have the perfect daily in your garage from memory .... It is called FF

I love them, had a few now but always with a 2 or 3 year break with other brands before I can stomach having to deal with the perpetual issues and rubbish servicing departments again.

I suspect the new 2017 model will be no different in this respect.

Had five LRs in a row, one D3 which had some serious faults, then threeD4s and now a FFRR all of which were/are as good as gold.

In my experience the dealer can make all the difference, we've found one we get on with very well and now feel a great product is supported by a great dealer.

Other people's experiences of course may differ.

I'm slightly curious of the durability of a 240bhp 2.0 diesel in something the size and weight of the RR Sport... Perhaps technology really has addressed this concern but I would feel slightly uneasy on the long-term durability of the engine if I gave the car a good workout regularly.

Ha, indeed it was good and used daily, gone now as it came out of warranty.

But as a true daily I'd say the Tesla is better.

I wonder about the real world economy. It's not great in the Evoque, but hauling a 2.1t body is surely going to be worse?

RR & RRS have been sold with little engines for years now for the gentlemen in China etc where they want to waft but not pay a billionty million in tax, so what's the point in not giving us the option of it.

Then again, the old 2.7 V6 only has 187bhp & 325lbs/ft, so it doesn't seem so bad as a base model, whilst shaving off 20mpg and 0-60mph quick by 4.5 seconds
Indeed the old 3.0TDV6 only had 211ps the run out 3.0SDV6 had 256ps, I think the 4 pot with 240ps will be fine.
