Well.... I fancied a new daily driver - but it had to meet certain requirements and this is what I ended up with biggrin

I wanted something fairly new, not too bad on fuel, comfortable, reasonable running costs, fun and that felt a bit special on the commute. And I'm pleased with the outcome smile

2013, GP2 approved used from Mini dealer, remainder of TLC pack, running road tyres (Conti-sports) and in absolutely immaculate condition throughout. 27k miles - looks, drives and feels superb.

Looks good, what's the unit below your window controls?

These came out whilst I was working at a MINI dealer and I was lucky enough to use one for a few days, it was an absolute hoot, great fun. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.

Thanks! It's just a ScanGauge so that I have an idea of engine temp (and also intake temp, voltage, Manifold Pressure and loads of other stuff) and does fault code scanning etc too.

Would certainly recommend it. It certainly is one of those cars which is far more pleasing that the 0-60 would suggest. The sound and handling make it very appealing to hoon. biggrin

Awesome car with great POWER to WEIGHT although it hard to be a NATURALly aspirated engine.

Have you COMPETED in the car yet and set any PB's?

It hides its enhanced aspiration well. It's currently running a cycle of 97 RON which helps. It had a a nice TUEsday.

Car looks very nice indeed, really like the GPs.
I *think* I saw you near Leeds Uni the other day, heading out of town.
Either yours or an identical one!

I was admiring the car in traffic funnily enough.
You got cut up by a taxi outside the Library pub just as I turned off!

Ah yes - I remember it. I really wanted to savage that prick, but restrained myself.
