The coloured spoiler makes it much easier on the eye, IMO http://www.viperexchange.com/vehicle-details/2016-...

This is a moot point no doubt, but I wonder how hard the ACR would be on brakes and tyres compared to a GT3? Also, one of these blew its engine in pretty spectacular fashion in this year's Targa Tasmania. can't post a photo for some reason but check out the oil down the side of the car!

That was a modified engine at 675bhp and if you read the article they admitted they over reved it Not really fair to compare it to a stock engine, race engines in all sorts of cars fail. http://www.themercury.com.au/sport/local-sport/tar...

Epic car and I'd have one in a heartbeat. Are they quiet enough for UK circuits though? Be a shame if it could only be used at Spa or the NRing.
Almost nothing this side of a Tesla is quiet enough for UK tracks these days, most of which operate most of the time on 98db drive by.Having said that, they also have a limited number of noisy days at 105db and that's loud enough that almost anything is ok.

$118k is base price
When you add extreme aero and a few bits it is easy to get a car to $140k
I'm in the US right now, going to see two cars on Friday with a view to buying one and shipping it back
