Very true. I went looking for one to buy and there were barely any at all. Also Mazda Xedos 6 and 9 - never all that common but incredibly rare now.

very rarely see an FTO on the roads these days. ive had a couple and love them but they all rotted and fell to pieces.
I saw a black one yesterday!I keep an eye on eBay for when one comes up. Hard to find one in good nick that doesn't have a body kit. They're usually under £800 too.

You rarely see any old bangers on the road these days. Why? Because the new going council is buying new cars on finance.
No they're not. They might be on estates that used to be local authority but are now privately owned. People on council estates drive Mk3 Mondeos, Mk1 Focuses etc. There are plenty of good sericable 10 -15 year old cars out there that can be bought for peanuts. This is the reason that 15-25 year old cars are disappearing. Why pay hundreds to get a Mk2Mondeo through its test when you can buy a good Mk3 for £500. You might also be supprised to know that quite a lot of people on council estates don't own cars. Many of the guys on minimum wage where I work getted picked up by a mini bus on a morning because they don't have a car. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
