It's ok mate, you can get the mad scientist to overnight parts from Dieppe
That's good because last time I raced mine over a quarter mile the people who started the race were somehow all at the finish line, also it took me 40 seconds to do it biggrin

It's standard Pipercross for those engines, though I don't think it matters when you're sticking a 75 shot of NOS into it wink

Can you use a NOS set up at a track day?

Being a bit pedantic, but this car doesn't have NOS.

True, but NOS rolls better off the tounge than N2O smile

Wasn't there a lawsuit of sorts regarding the branding of Nitrous oxide after the F&F movies??

I think it's worse than that - I'm fairly sure in the Ncap test that the car twisted so badly that the dummy's head missed the airbag.

Yep, your face and knees are the crumple zone in these. Leaving it out in the rain would write it off. Certainly beats any speed camera in making you a safer driver biggrin

It got one or two stars, I think. Still not as bad as the Fiat Cinquecento, which got half a star.

I was around 15/16 when these came out, so some appeal but when the stars aligned, I got the car that I had wanted for longer, a 205 GTi. I could never get around how cramped and offset the pedal box was on these compared to the perfect driving position of the much older 205.

I don't have a problem with the Saxo though. It's a cheap, light, simple, old-school hot hatch but I think that this one owner, facelift VTS is a better buy for the same money, even without NOS.

Funny, 'cos 106 GTis are silly money in comparison!

That's funny. As long as you're not in it at the time. That's not funny at all. Or if you drive one at the moment, then it's not very funny, it's just worrying.

I think it's funny because I don't. Still think it's a nice little car, but you would worry about the spaghetti structure.
