Has anyone investigated this / done it / evaluated it's pointless or unviable
We hear a lot of petrol LOG conversions and I was surprised to find a compression engine could be converted.

It's not really a conversion in the same sense as a petrol car, the car still runs primarily on diesel, the LPG helps with the combustion.
I had a quick look into it a while back and it really only makes sense for seriously high mileages on older diesels, the newer common rail injection engines are already burning the diesel very efficiently so the LPG doesn't make as much of a difference.
