North West. Looking at the Qashqai prices £18k is a lot of car for the money. I dont mind the looks, just wish the Qashqai had matching wheel arch colours.

Are you from the North East, loads more up here than the rest of England, mainly because everyone knows somebody who works at the Nissan factory and nobody pays full price.

My employer gets the family discounts staff get and we have absolutely nothing at all to do with Nissan.
Do you think anyone actually pays £18k cash for one? £200/month, rinse and repeat after 3 years.

Has anyone else these cars are literally everywhere now. I work in a small company, we employed a new guy recently and he drives a Qashqai. Even the reps that visit seem to drive them also. Whilst walking down the street for lunch I see about 6 or 7 of each within a stretch of about 1 mile. The supermarket car park is also filled with mostly these two cars now, same with motorways.
Well Qashqai is the 5th best selling car YTD - so you should see more (double the number) of Fiestas, although then there's quite a big drop to Corsa, Focus and Golf.

We looked at Qashqai when it was decided my missus needed a small/mid-size SUV and thought it was horrible. She got a Tiguan instead and absolutely loves it. Since she got it they seem to be everywhere - I guess, same as you, it's just down to becoming aware of a particular vehicle.

Don't get the hate for the CashCow - it's cheap, half decent to drive, and practical for families.
Agreed. I never got the Qashqai until I was given one as a courtesy car for a week around a year ago, and was astounded by how good it was. No idea what engine it was but it was diesel, smooth and punchy, the current-gen looks decent and it was loaded with kit that I had never had before (main beam assist, speed limit monitoring, 360 camera etc).

I'm not in the market for one, but if I was I'd be seriously considering it.
