I vaguely remember paying about £300 for a Legacy GTB flywheel when the WRX was half of that. The difference was literally about 2mm larger outside circumference on the GTB.

Madness.

I have a wood rimmed genuine TVR steering wheel for a TVR S2 sitting in my garage, must be worth at least £1000 then on that basis.

No no no no! Your TVR wheel is a "barn find" - £10k minimum. Take some pictures of it, extra points for some straw partially obscuring the wheel. biggrin

Sounds like a plan.

I have kept it on the basis that it gives me a reason one day to attach a TVR to it again hehe

I have also got a window mechanism for a Saab 900 Turbo and a set of original alloys for a Honda Civic, so my garage could get a bit tight for space.

Kids, don't you just love em. Can you just look after this for me Dad, I haven't got anywhere to put it for at least 20 years or so wink

At some point I'm going to need a replacement front indicator housing for my RS2000 (when I finally take it for an MOT in the distant future). The type that was fitted to every other Mk2 Escort, but last time I looked they were coming up as £100-150 each. That's more than a lot of complete Mk2 Escorts sold for not that long ago (or perhaps that's my age...).

The dashboard surround trim for the soft dash version of the Range Rover Classic - it's the only part of the car that doesn't appear to be out of the BL parts bin!

Price new when you could still buy them - £39

Price of the last used one I watched sell on eBay about 5 years ago when I needed one - £214

In the end, I repaired mine with the aid of Araldite and a couple of cut-down rawlplugs.

Porsche 964 Targa roof panel £11,500 https://www.design911.co.uk/fu/prod139448/Porsche-...

Not having a go at this particular company - that's just what Porsche charge. I had a spare a couple of years ago that I sold, person who bought it had had his nicked off his car parked on the street.
