Had a moment of madness, (beer might have been involved) yesterday, one minute your looking for Series III Jags, then all of sudden you've bought a 2.7 Boxster and a Classic Mini...

Superb work bow

That is lovely, and looks very good value especially when compared to the equivalent Mercedes/ BMW. I don't think I've seen a RHD before.
I really like the old 504. This is especially lovely, but is double top budget.

Pickled - apt user name - you are a ledge!

I do all sorts of fantasy browsing and virtual buying, but to randomly buy two cars at once is proper hard core. Well done - a nice little combo.
I never seem to be able to buy the car I originally look for hehe

Its the wifes 50th in 3 weeks so I guess giving her the Boxster might win some brownie points.

I've wanted a classic mini for as long as I can remember, but with the prices of them nowadays I put it to the back of my mind, I honestly didn't think I had a hope in hell of grabbing it at the price I offered, MOT till Sept. Corbeau buckets, an uprated 1293 engine, recent sills few Cooper bits and pieces and Minilites which I think look fab on minis

And the combined total for both cars was a smidgen over £6k

Off to York to pick up the Boxster tomorrow so a nice 250 mile blast home, then the Mini on Tuesday, thankfully its only 10 miles for that one!

Oh and I appear to be the current highest bidder on an E30 cab as well... oops hehe Only live once and all that

Insane VFM. Well done - nice to see some interesting car purchases, especially at accessible figures.

Quick update on purchases - Lovely 250 mile drive back with Boxster. Mini being picked up Tues, and it would seem I've also won the E30 cab I chucked a cheeky bid own - picking that up on Thursday, wife seems surprisingly unperturbed. So far...

"Only reason this car is up for sale is the wifes making me sell it as she was away on holiday when i bought it, so dont really care if it sells or not."

There are times that 122,000 miles completed is reassuring. This is one of them.

Who's got the balls for this?

Feels very expensive for a BiTurbo. But it does have a very clean MOT history.

Nice enough, but not £9k nice for me.
