I would like a Cortina Mk III GXL please Santa.
That was my first car , it was 7 years old when I bought it in 1979, I hadn't had it a month, I stopped at a roundabout , the woman behind me in a 2CV didn'tThere was a thump, the lower front of the 2cv had gone under the bumper, I got out , looked at the rear valance which was mostly brown dust on the floor
Irritating stty photos aside, these could be lovely ways to potter about this summer.
Both a whiff over budget.

I absolutely adore E28s and kick myself for not buying a 525e when they were stupidly cheap and sensible daily commuter hacks.http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C850227

My first ever Jag as a 4.2 in that very colour scheme, D265ELF. It had a few bubbles of rust at 6 years old when I sold it. I saw it a year later looking ready for the scrapper as every single panel looked utterly fecked with the tin worm.
Also a little concerning that it's had all that work done with all that effort, only for it to have only done 2k miles since. Makes me wonder why it's up for sale.

That is lovely, and looks very good value especially when compared to the equivalent Mercedes/ BMW. I don't think I've seen a RHD before. This looks quite good value (despite the overdressed tyres!)- was up for £7k a couple of weeks ago

£12K six-cylinder http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C843979

And one of the benefits of Mercedes and BMWs of this era is that there is still reasonable parts backup, at a price. Same for quite a few British cars of the era.

Rubbish advert, but what a beast that thing is. Could be a cracking buy for a barge fan, but I think it's priced optimistically.
