It looks like someone's crashed a Volvo 850 into Halfords.

Many times.

Hard to get excited about that - poverty spec and glacially slow, especially with the auto box.

It's in nice condition, but what would you actually do with it if you bought it? It's already at 3x what a usable one is worth, and if you actually use it, you'll erode any value in it. But it'll never be worth sitting on as an appreciating classic.

I agree, and I think the theory is pretty grim as well!

I appear to be bidding on that dodgy paint 300E from the barge thread.

Out of control! I have not even worked out how to get the latest jag purchase back yet!
Did you 'win' the 300e? I see it just finished at £1470.

Yep. If I was looking for a dull saloon, I'd be happy to pay a slight premium over another to get the low miles and good condition. But it would be to use it as my main car - it's not exactly interesting or exciting enough to save it for trackdays or summer weekends.

I'm not generally keen on white cars, but I love this cream jobbie. Recent welding is a good sign with these.

Link?

Circa £10k is incredibly cheap for a late convertible.

I like this too.
But really, who needs a Rover specialist to sell them 4 tyres?

Hot damn. Spring road-trip across the States to an East Coast port anyone?

I bloody love Bring a Trailer. Why isn't there anything similar in the UK? Market too small, cars too rusty?

Unless that's absolutely rotten or has some other serious issue it'll be gone in no time. They are usually up at £20k+

MOT history needs checking. A few things over the years but seems to be better now.
