Had a 420G as one of our wedding cars - nowhere near as nicely proportioned as the Mk2 in my eyes, but that looks a really decent example as a basis for a colour change/refresh.

According to the MOT history it's previously failed for corrosion in recent years, so the quality of repairs and hidden horrors would need a careful check. Clean bill of health at the last MOT in April

Love that. First Jaaag my father had was a 420G, in that same colour, he's got pictures of my brother and me standing in front of it when we were but young boys. I've always quite fancied a 420G and I'd probably be interested in that, but they are BIG cars and need tucking out of the wet when not being used, and I just don't have a garage big enough!

I love it too, but the colour would have to stay - that's the best bit about it.

After owning a few GS and a brace of new BX's, my Dad came so close to buying one like this. Love the CX!

I don't know much about these, but I like the colour combo.

Sluggier than a sluggy thing - currently featuring in the cars that look fast but aren't thread. Savannah interior looks OK but is rather billious in the flesh. Natural Brown ftw smile

Arena Red, unusual colour. Boxster 2.5's aren't quick at all, the later 2.7's are ok. An S is good fun though. Well it is unless it's coupled to a tiptronic gearbox...

What do we mean by 'not quick'? I suspect lots of cars that are usefully fast in any sort of normal use could be called 'not quick'.

£989 over budget. Oh well... And cat D. The cheapest V10 M5 by a way on autotrader through. I seem to remember these being cheaper?

Special cars though (and ruinous!)
