What do we mean by 'not quick'? I suspect lots of cars that are usefully fast in any sort of normal use could be called 'not quick'.
It's not as quick as most people would expect. Hard to explain really, I used to flog them and I was looking forward to my first drive in one and it was a bit of a non event really. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Boxster. Just not the 2.5 biggrin

£989 over budget. Oh well... And cat D. The cheapest V10 M5 by a way on autotrader through. I seem to remember these being cheaper?

Special cars though (and ruinous!)

A seller to avoid at all costs.

Any car is fixable. Question is is the price right?
Wheels look meh - I've never liked the M6 wheels put onto the E60 M5 personally.
Cheapest version of the car and you can still bid down further. We all know car prices are going up so let's take a chance

Were some M5s not available with those wheels?

I have no idea about the market for these old things regarding price, but as for thread title 'Lovely Cars' -

That is just gorgeous. One of these was my first car, back in the 70's. I was 15, no license, no anything, a mate and I bought a dodgy 420 for £100. when my dad eventually found out we were hooning around the country in an unlicensed, unregistered Jag,he went a bit ballistic.

Fact is it's the cheapest in the UK
What's the risk
What's wrong with it
How much possibly to fix etc.

That company is the absolute dodgiest of dodgy car dealers. I wouldnt touch ANYTHING from there, especially not a car renowned for throwing up big bills.

This thread is dangerous as this is the territory I operate in. Combine that with my complete disregard for reputation/running costs and all about what I want.

You can get some lovely machines for not very much money in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes you get lucky, other times you lose an amount of money that isn't life altering.

I shall be keeping a close eye on this one wink
