Thank you, I was confusing my engines. I was thinking about the transverse inline 4 from the K1200S and K1300S but you're right - different set-up.

Not a problem - I figured you'd got confused

In the midget I do hope it retained the midget gearbox rather than use the K1100 RS one - cos they sound like they have a bunch of rocks inside them getting thrown around by the cogs at tickover biggrin

I'm not a J-tin man but I'd have that over the Citroen DS just because it's not a DS

I like both cars but of the two could only afford this one. I agree it's very cool.

It would annoy me always seeing that the near side rear window has an additional vertical bar in it compared to the off side. Plus I'm not off to the cash and carry.

CAT D S63 at a whisker under 13K - with all the extras - but if an owner has put these alloys on it, i question how well the repair from cat D was done ..... boasts full dealer history though.......

Those alloys are horrible. You'd have to be very brave.

I think buying a thirteen thousand pound chavved Cat D AMG S63 in bog basic spec from a dealer whose other stock looks like Asda car park in a particularly down at heel area is only slighly less likely to bring misery to your life than seeing how many West African prositutes you can have sex with bareback for the same amount of money.

Would you be less annoyed in the knowledge that that window is split because it is electrically operated by sticking the key in a hole adjacent the window?

An alarming amount of thought has obviously gone in to the comparison.

I'm particularly intrigued by the reference to West African, as opposed to East, South or North. I clearly have a knowledge gap in this area.

Quite cool feature, when pavement parked can safely load groceries/school bags/dead burglars.
And one of this threads best cars ever IMO.
