That is fantastic. Great spot. CharlesdeGaulle said:
Suit you, Sir.Having lived with a Griff (as a daily driver!) and subsequently a Tuscan I'd not hesitate to live with another if I could afford to, probably as a second car. Almost anything pre-21st century should be a relative doddle to maintain too.

The car in the link is a 450 SEAC I think which is rather rare from (hazy) memory, perhsps only a few dozen made?
Surprised I've not seen an obvious mention of the Citroen C6

Wanted one of these since they came out. The £500 a year tax is unfortunately hard to swallow though, as it is on any other car of that age and engine size.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

The shape and Frenchness always appeal to me, but the £500 VED (even for the manual 2.2 diesel, tragically) always stands between me and the car, alas. If I were running just one car at a time I would find it easier to swallow the VED. I probably see a couple a year on the roads and always enjoy it when I do.feef said:

Not sure what's obvious about them.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
I'm more surprised that there are 431 of the things on the road.

I've always fancied one of these, but suspect build quality would be an issue.Remember shutting the door on the factory demo 390SE......and the dashboard fell off.
Still, it was, iirc, only a couple of screws to re-attach it

Text for the ad was lifted from this buying guide dated 2003. Thought I recognised it from other CL ads.

Great thread, by the way.
Good spot. Or good memory. Or anally retentive weirdo. One of them, anyway!http://www.motortrend.com/cars/mercedes-benz/cl-cl...

OK I'm not sure if this is lovely, but it sure is interesting. I didn't even know the AJ16 was available with a manual gearbox. Fuzzy seats too!

That might have interested me a few years ago when it was a £4k car, but £10k is a lot for a novelty Jaguar.

I'm not sure about the Wedding Hire White, and that front bumper just doesn't look right.
Not to mention it has half the engine missing
