Loved the acres of cow inside the Highline cars but never keen on the heavy front and rear bumper assemblies; a chrome bumpered car mit der Highline leder-fest would be an ideal spec for an E24.

I thought it was reasonably priced too. I don't know much about them, but I think I've just decided that I want one.
When I was a kid, the speed limit changed from 30 to 60mph just outside our house. There was also a right hand turn/junction just before it. Most nights a chap with a 635csi, in that same colour, would come past on his way home from work.
Most nights he'd have to slow down to let someone turn right and then he floored it....I've wanted one ever since.
I'd say (in the current market) that doesn't look like silly money.
Haven't you got a coupé sized space in your garage at the mo CDG? wink

That is expensive, but if it really is rust-free (and I strongly suspect it isn't) it might be as close to a new 124 as you can get.
That does look lovely but at that price you'd have to really really (really) want one at that price

Oof. A low mileage proper legitimate one-owner E60 AMG. That would be in the barn so fast if I had the car budget to spare.

Expensive but a lovely 320 W124 estate. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C800300

I would have the question the judgement of the owner that put the awful tints on it but I guess you can remove these. I suppose it could have been worse with chrome wheel arch trim.

While it is technically a coupe I think we could stipulate that it's in rather more than your average coupe-sized space. I was obliged to raise an eyebrow upon measuring up the other day and finding that one of those is wider and longer than my E39 Touring.

Gem or money-pit? Low cost of entry might off-set some pain.

If it's structurally properly solid and drives nicely then that looks like an excellent project for some nit-picky perfectionist type who wants to get a car restored at reasonable cost. Compare the price with a Mark II and while it's not quite as pretty, it's actually a better car.

I always feel the S-Type is a bit Dannii Minogue.

Cheaper, looks OK and most likely reliable but not as good looking as the older Kylie that has the potential to break your heart.

Seat released a Cupra K1 pack with the BTCC bodykit, highly sought after, very rare. Most are FR+'s or diesels.

Um, it's not retro. This thread isn't just about retro. It's a 2009.
