Like an elderly relative's sofa...can't help thinking about the decades of absorbed sweat, epic crumbs and the creatures living on said crumbs...would you thrust your digits in the folds if your change rolled out of your pockets?

The interior out of the BMW i3 is pretty awful. I sat in one at a car show and it must have been specced out to look like my mums living room. Cream and white cloth seats, cream and fake wood dash.

Seats felt completely flat too with no side bolster, must be awful to drive at pace.

Pagani cant really control what the customers spec, a sale is a sale

but its a bloody zonda! a quick trip to the factory to change the mats and the dash/wheel leather to black and full awesomeness will be restored, the red seats and dials would then work

Porsche really did some st interiors in the 90s tho - Bubble-gum Pink leather doesn't last...

here's another Porsche with a typical 'upgrade' from that period
i'd drive that. i love the overblown hifi on those cars, especially the roof/t bar mounted ones

I think that's great, and it goes well with the land yacht it's attached to.

Much better than the branch of carphone warehouse that's inside a car with bizarrely stiff suspension despite being designed to cruise up and down motorways.
Audi do make exquisitely detailed interiors, however considering their vast pool of engineering talent and huge resources it amazes me that they still make cars with lifeless, wooden steering and horrendous ride quality.
Subjectivity about the looks and styling aside (which I don't happen to like anyway), I don't objectively believe the word "exquisite" can be used to describe anything in an Audi. Massively, massively over-rated interior and with all the raving about them I assume other car folks here have gone to see what all the fuss was about. I found the A6 to have the absolute worst car seats I've ever sat in, which was a title bestowed until the Audi A6 on a clapped out Renault 21 my first girlfriend drove in the late 1990s, and a brief look at any Audi a few years old reveals that the "exquisite" interior wears really badly compared to other cars in that sector just with normal use. The soft touch shight on the interior door handles goes shiny and starts to move on its adhesive, making unsightly creases etc.

How comfy does that look though!
It really does.
I kind of hate it and love it in equal measure. If I got in the drivers seat my brain would struggle to decide whether to drive the thing or just unwind with a single malt and occasional cigar!

Reminds me of those cartoon characters in that old fabric softener TV advert.
. . . looks like it might smell of stale wee (like some old folks homes).
