Is it too early in the morning for this one yet?

I was about to say I quite like a bright interior and then you posted that.

Not exactly, garish, I don't mind that.
There was a parrot on the dash but it flew off just before the picture was taken.

Never mind the after market tuners. As soon as I saw the thread title I immediately thought of the revolting visual crimes committed by Porsche over the years: green, burgundy, red, brown, sick, prison grey, pink.

Each to their own and all that, but I'd sooner have most of the candidates on this thread than that miserable expanse of black plastic.

I've seen and indeed driven trucks with worse interiors than that. Dont have any pics unfortunatley. But imagine grey fake leather with dark red crushed velvet. Sewn in buttons in everything and a red plastic car steering wheel. In a Volvo NH12 at that. Was ashamed driving that pile of junk, and it was loud as fk aswell.... Gaaahhh

When it came out in, erm, 1991, the callaway corvette twin turbo had the best exterior/interior combo I could imagine. Wish I had a better pic of that blue leather with yellow seat belts-

Unfortunately, you can find pics of it looking like this (poss the same chassis)

So that's my best and worst in one car!

Well, a parrot would certainly have brightened it up a bit. biggrin (Pheew! I just dodged a 'Whoooosh!' myself - I was about to respond, 'Where's the pizazz, the flair, the imagination, the ostentation and the ambience?; that interior is Dull, Dull, Dull and would darken a man's soul'.)
Anyway, glad it was posted as a bit of a counterpoint. wink

Last time I checked, you could do terrible things to Merc interiors with Designo options.

Surely TOOSXY would have to be high on the list, prior to being gutted.

Exactly, it's not garish but it's one of the worst, its got no redeeming features, it's full of dull black plastic and it's just so god damn boring. How anyone aspires to own one I don't know

But that's an essex esprit so all is forgiven. Yes its a bit red but it isn't quite so bad in real life. And the car is cool

Sure you both would.

Are you two the kind of people to pebble dash a mid terraced house because you'd rather look at that than a miserable expanse of bricks?

Bricks have colour. I wouldn't want to live in a grey/black/white house.

New Bristol Bullet is pretty st. Looks like someone has made it out of MDF offcuts and then covered in ginger leather:
