Haha put on the spot, that's a good price I thought cars in the middle east were more expensive than here, but I'm after a uk car and in around 12 to 18 months my circumstances and the cars price range should hopefully be in that happy place smile

MS agree with you re the V6 AMG aside its the pick of the range

Are those weights EU (as in with driver)?

SL is cornerstone of the Merc range so I can't see the model disappearing. They may well move it further upmarket, to differentiate it from the Roadster.
They have always been closely associated with the S class in terms of underpinnings.

Current SL well out of sync with current S class so not that surprising.

Someone half way up said the sl is not a driver's car or a sports car... Lol, any car that is speed limited to 300kph is a sports car. My 2018 SL63 handles great, is a fantastic drivers car, and also every day driver. It might not be as cutting edge on the track as a 911 or a R8 but it's just what I want.. something that will blow the doors off 99.5 percent of anything out there, or go for a long drive in luxury when in comfort mode. Best car out there after doing my research to get the best of both worlds...
