Indeed. Especially if they try to spell "Ken" or similar.

+1 for the bunchers, it's a pain in the arse around here. I don't look forward to the dark winter nights as people seem a million times worse in the dark.

dont go to petrol stations with shops then, not rocket science
You mean these exist, yea I know, I only go to Sainsburys cos it's handy whilst the OH gets the weekly shopping, and she gets points. Fortunately it's not a problem, but I have been caught out in other petrol stations.

We don't have many round here or on my commute, without shops.
I'd prefer to slap them with a URAFUQWIT stick personally.

1. Indicators on roundabouts. Don't just enter the roundabout and stick the RHS indicator on saying your going that way round.
2. Personalised number plates on new low rent Korean hatchbacks. Avoid.
1. That's what you do unless you're turning left http://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/changes-and-answers...

2. When is it ever not low-rent? I suppose having a 10 year BMW or Audi with personalised plate whilst living on a council estate portrays as 'classy'?

I imagine there's a lot of older people with nothing to prove anymore who end up buying new Korean cars and are simply transferring the plates over from the Range Rover, Audi convertible etc. There's a pensions crisis apparently .

1. Maybe... he means 'don't just (only) indicate right - also indicate left as you approach the exit you need'??

In which case you are both correct.

Sitting at traffic lights with foot on brake blinding the person behind.
Is it so difficult to apply the handbrake or the electric switch modern cars come with?
If it's a VW with electronic handbrake (not sure about other makes) if you use the autohold feature the brake lights stay on when you are stopped, I only realised when I saw my brakelights shining on a road sign behind me

One of the worst for me at the moment is people flashing their lights at other cars when they're on the other side of the road to give way to them when the person in question is crossing my path. Or even worse, doing it at traffic lights or roundabouts. It's like they're trying to play God and re-arrange the rules of the road.

Have we had waiting for traffic lights to turn green before indicating their intention to turn right?

What good is that to anyone?

Drive lovely cars like fking morons.

There is an idiot in my local town who has used his parent's money to buy a new Lambo. Now, don't get me wrong, it's a lovely car. The noise it makes is wonderful.

However, a 30 mph residential road is not the place to test how fast the thing can accelerate. Every time he passes our house, he is pretty much flooring it. It sounds great, but it's a bloody stupid thing to do. You really can't miss it.

wker!

As it's that time of year when the nights start drawing in and the sun is low in the sky during morning and evening rush hour: people who can't grasp that lights are not just there to light the road when it's dark, but are also useful for helping other road users see their car in low sun etc.

And cyclists in Cambridge: you, as a soft, squishy bag of flesh and bone will come off considerably worse in a sudden interaction with 1 - 2 tonnes of steel. On what basis do you think it is in any sensible to go around without lights and wearing dark clothing? Granted reflective clothing may not be the "coolest" thing to wear, but being smeared over the road isn't exactly a strong look either.

Cars in supermarket car parks who have to squeeze into the nearest space to the shop, or park on the hatchings. Once witnessed a driver in an almost empty Tesco Extra car park, making a mess of squeezing into a space between 2 other cars so they could be 4 spaces away from the shop. Meanwhile 6 spaces away from the shop was empty, as were about the other 100 or so spaces beyond that! (It was about an hour from closing). I had parked a bit away from the shop with no surrounding cars, and was in Tesco whilst this driver was still messing about.
If I'm lucky I can get out of work at lunchtime for a bit so I sometimes find myself on a supermarket car-park having a sandwich.

The lack of spatial awareness and pre-planning is staggering.

I appreciate some people might have a physical impairment or whatever...but...what about using those spaces where they are in the middle so you can drive in one side and drive out the other?? No reversing necessary.

These seem to be ignored in preference for parking nose in against a wall.

People...are idiots.

As of last night driving home around 8pm in the dark, kid's on bikes with no lights and some utter noggin jogging on the side in my lane with no reflective clothing and i saw him last minute and wouldn't be surprised if the idiot got wiped out

People who brake for every minor bend.
People who randomly brake on a dual carriageway or motorway when there is no reason

(I know why they do it - they look at the speed and see they are travelling a little faster than they want to and brake - fknuggets - just lift and re-apply the go pedal once you've got back down to the desired speed)

People that pull out from the hard shoulder without accelerating up to a decent speed first. I saw one yesterday attempting to pull straight into lane 1 from a standing start. It just astounds me that people think that is a good idea,

When at the supermarket I just park the farthest away from everyone that I can find, its only a little bit of an extra walk, but keeps the idiots away from my vehicles that I actually care about.

I do that. I often get back to my car to find someone parked right next to it though !

Lucky you. I seem to find that whenever I do that, some doofus will park alongside. I'm starting to think some people lack the capacity to relate their vehicle to white lines on the ground and can only park if they have another vehicle alongside as a reference point.
