Had both. Tungsten looks like liquid metal. Very attractive and IMHO, one of the best. Hides dirt and swirls with ease and accentuates the curves of the Aston. In poor light, looks plain silver.
Quantum is a bit more sophisticated. Requires good light to really make it stand out. Some cars just look more menacing in a dark colour and a Vantage is no exception. Problem is, black is a full time job. Quantum has all the advantages of black but much less flaws visible.
In poor light, looks almost black.

Mine is a (second hand) Tungsten silver one. Nice color, but if I had to buy new, I would never buy a silver one.

Mine was Tungsten. Obviously I thought it was the best colour and showed the curves of the car in the best way, but the extra bonus was that it really did mask the dirt and any paintwork swirls so you didn't have to be totally anal, in a way that a lighter silver wouldn't do. Having had a black car previously I admire anyone who has the patience to keep them looking spot-on.

I'd echo the above. I've had Tungsten, which was an absolute dream to maintain and didn't look horrendous when dirty. I now have a black DBS, which is a toal nightmare! I do, however, love the look of Quantam. So actually, I've been no help whatsoever other than confirming that black is a full time job.

Tungsten! Shows the curves beautifully but not the dirt. Best choice if you are going to drive it, or black if you are going to polish it...

to me tungsten is silver, quantum is dark grey or black, so it depends if you want a silver or black car.

to me tungsten is a great colour, even though i have meteorite! i would have storm black with the red flecks if going for a black one

to me the darker colours look better on the more aggressive AM models - DBS, V12V etc, whereas the lighter silver/white colours like tungsten and lightning silver look better on the GT or convertible cars - DB9, Volante, regular V8V, unless you convert all the chrome to carbon black..

bottom line there is whole bunch of grey/silver/black to choose from..

Would Tungsten Silver also be the colour of choice with respect to re-painting the car after the paintbubbles have occurred? Is it easy to match for the paintshop?

When I purchased mine I was more focused on having a two-tone interior and didn't really have a color preference. After having owned my jet black now will never get a black car again. After a bit it becomes - well, at least the the dust is even everywhere.rolleyes

I've got a black DB9V and although it needs a bit of work to keep it shiney I find it a pleasure and not a chore,to spend an hour washing and occasionally polishing the car.
Soaping up those luscious curves, gently carresing the sensual bodywork, giving it a good rub down, life doesn't get much better than that.
Then there's the climax, inserting your key, listening to the exotic throaty burble of the V12, foot down, your away.
There's nowt better than a shiney DB9V.

Had both colours and they are both gorgeous and suit the car well.

Currently have quantum and i would say it has more of a dark bronze type tint to it - certainly doesnt look black in my eyes....then again i am in denial of wearing glasses!!!

Tungsten shows less dirt but quantum isnt too bad and its fairly easy to clean, unlike black.

Just as well cause i hate cleaning cars biglaugh

I recall hearing that the lighter the silver is, the harder it is to match? So something like Titanium would be the hardest to match, Tungsten not as bad and a dark silver like Meteorite the easiest. All relative though - as anything that isn't a near-perfect match tends to stand out like or sore thumb on an Aston.

Had both. Quantum is by far the better colour.

I think the colour Tungsten was introduced, following a period when Grigio Titanio - Ferrari was being specified by a some Aston Martin new car buyers. It is a colour that really sparkles in sunlight, does not show dirt, and one panel that I had resprayed matches perfectly.

If you are ordering new Arin, you can still choose Grigio, and you will then own a Vantage in a very rare colour.

Current V12 is Quantum, previous V8 was Tungsten, I would choose Tungsten every time, it just looks better in every situation. Whether clean or dirty bright or dull it seems to show the lines of the car off so much better.

I love the way our Tungsten car looks in the sun. Also echo the thoughts on not having to keep it 100% clean.

Looks very nice with a bitter chocolate interior/roof wink

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Of course, being an innocent country boy, I could not see any connection whatsoever. I might have this completely wrong Steven, but is leather something that might feature on your Ladyboys options menu?
You are correct in your assumption that my Ladyboys offer a full range of options, which encompass an extensive range of perversions.
I seem to remember that your particular sweet spot involved a goat.
