Interesting Motoring Finds Abroad...

I'm back from a recent trip to Russia and came across a really stunning Motor / Military Museum on the outskirts of Moscow...I really was not expecting too much, but it proved very intriguing both inside and out. A floor dedicated to historical Russian cars restored to an amazing standard (by their in house team) complemented by a stunning collection of Delahays, Alfas, Auto Unions and BMW bubble cars (?) complimented by an excellent english speaking guide for the morning.
Outside more curiosities awaited...A car park with no explanation contained Mercedes McLaren, Ferraris, A GTR, a 911 GT3 and many other exotic cars covered in leaves, seemingly unloved. A wide selection of Russian Jets also on view (in a rather sorry state) and a huge selection of tanks and other military vehicles from post war to modern day.
I was told this was the private collection of a Russian collector, and they were expanding to house more of this huge collection.
Have you had a similar unexpected experience?
What other finds lurk out there I wonder??
