Apple upgrade to IOS 10
Discussion
Is it me?
My iphone upgraded itself to 10.0.2.
So now the log in is a mess. Instead of swiping to the right to enter my pass code, I have to mess around trying to get that screen to come up.
And the fingerprint recognition - what a joke - lasts about a week before it has forgotten who you are.
Why can't they make upgrades work seamlessly?

BTW you don't need to use the fingerprint scanner, just press the home button twice and it'll present the code screen like before.

Thanks guys. I have a 5S, the later of the old square sided models.
Pressing twice seems to work. Not something I thought to do, but PH to the rescue!
By the way, the phone is only four months old - I sent my old one, one of the first of the Iphone 5, back to Apple under the (by then expired) battery warranty program, as the battery was dying while saying 42%, and Apple sent a brand new 5S as a replacement rather than fixing the old one. Well chuffed understates my reaction.....

It annoys me how if you press the home button to wake the phone up you don't get the passcode screen you get a different screen and then need to press home again.
Luckily my iPhone is still on 8.4 so thats all normal, just my iPad thats all changed.
On my 6S, I press the home button and it unlocks (fingerprint), as their last 2 phones (and future ones I should think) have fingerprint scanning that's what they are catering for I guess.Luckily my iPhone is still on 8.4 so thats all normal, just my iPad thats all changed.
