2011? Must be a mistake?
There are a few cars with incorrect years it seems:

I think with the jaguars the years have been accidently switched around possibly?
It really annoys me how many mistakes RM Sotherby's make in their catalogue and description. Two more: the V8 Coupe (with the badge saying "V8 Coupe") called the virage vantage (no such car), the 1993 DB7 GT, etc etc. The mistakes go on and on.

Style over substance. Or accuracy.

That F40 is amazeballs. Anyone know what the remote thingy is on the front of the floor console? Guess the metal knob on dash is brake bias?

/...and the racing Porsche 962!!!

Mind you, this is the one for the gentleman racer, being a convertable, airbag, aircon version of the le mans racing legend.

They really dont fill me with confidence if I were buying or selling.

Maybe linked to the 2 Van Goghs that have been found at the Naples Mafia boss's home. That investigation has been going on for the last few years.

Or just some serious collector.

He liked Jags generally - I am peculiarly gratified that he had five XJ40s!

What will the Cosworths go for?
The Rallycars ,unless they are well known period competition cars will be comparatively low as

originality is EVERYTHING.

The one roadcar ,the white Escort has what looks like early Motorsport spec ,due to having non

electric windows etc, so could fetch strong money .Although it too has non original wheels and stg wheel.

The pick of the cosworth crop will be the full Group N Escort, its exactly how it would have been purchased direct from Ford Cologne ready to be pulled apart and properly re prepared for rallying, but this one has never been touched.

I would say that is quite a unique example and the one that will attract the real bids.

What an incredible collection. Love the interior shots of the F40 and competition cars - that lego kit Viper looks like good fun.

Euromillions win = take the lot.

I'd sell the duplicates though, bit weird having all those 911s etc.

Pity that despite the value of those cars they managed to date so many of them wrongly.

Not all.

The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 barchetta is RHD.

Alfa should buy it for their museum ,if they don't have one already.

I took a look at it because it looks lovely, not just due to the name.

Ah, apologies for that, I viewed several of them and wrongly assumed they were all LHD!

As for your post, perhaps you ought to have kept quiet about it until you had bought the Alfa smile

Must say it was quite an eclectic collection, must have been an enthusiastic and well funded petrol-head.
