Bedroom from scratch.

Just bought a French style sleigh bed in white oak - amazing value. Now I need a new mattress (double) to complete. Can anybody recommend a good one - been a long time since last one was renewed so behind the curve a tad. Not too firm but not saggy either - good quality sought.
Also: bedroom shows signs of mould growth and damp on the two outside walls (1930's solid 9" walls) so intend insulating before decorating. Appreciate advice on best way to do it. Can diy almost all things but need method/materials advice and would be grateful for effective and permanent solutions. Thanks.
