As much as you may find it distasteful, I bet it's absolutely lovely to drive up to Scotland in!
But would you prefer to drive a standard one to Scotland with £150k still in your back pocket?

Not to my taste but I can appreciate the veneer... HOWEVER!! £100k for the changes is just not justifiable... I can't help but think that a unmodified Range Rover Autobiography and a V8 F-Fype would be a much better way to spend £250k.

Myrtle Burl sounds like the name of an ageing TV personality. "Hi, I'm Myrtle Burl and I'd like to talk to you about this walk-in bath."

The guy who used to own and run Overfinch now has a small garage near me. Popped in there the other day and there's a bunch of nice classic cars being restored/worked on and there were a couple of defenders having sodding great big yank V8s fitted in them.
LS3 powered one would be my choice - http://www.thewildcatgroup.com/v8defender/

If I ever decide to buy a nightclub or deal class A drugs I suppose I might consider it...

I'd like to find out what driving a 550bhp Defender feels like with your right arm pressed against the window smile

An epic experience, I reckon. Emphasising 'experience' of course.

If you're buying one I'd say you probably have so much money that you wouldn't care!

interesting idea, prefer the stuff Mulliner do for Bentley though. It is amazing what proper craftsmen and women can do though.

I could take 100's of hours assembling a big pile of dog poop in the park, that would not be worth £100k either tongue outtongue outbiggrin
Is this park in London? If so, I'll give you £150k for it.

The pile of poop "London Edition" is worth far more than the pile of poop they have sitting in a park in Bradford.

Why lower a Range Rover?
Looks better? Not likely to be used off-road either.

I'm not a fan of 4x4's but I do like the work Overfinch does as for the wood I'd probably go with a darker finish but the good thing about them is you can have the car made to your tastes. biggrin

Actually, if you handed me a quarter of a million quid and told me that I had to buy a Rangie with it, I think I'd take a nice RRC and £240k to spend on a plethora of other cars...

Looks better? No it doesn't

Most folks seem to like the high driving position and potential off road ability.
If you like neither then you're probably better off choosing a different car to start with.
