I don't much like the wheels, but they're the proper ones aren't they? And very rare. I can't afford it anyway http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C739577
When all is said and done, this may be tasteless but at least it doesn't look like a London black cab. Range Rover has pedigree and provenance, even when it is tarted up by Elizabeth Duke. It will be up to the purchaser to specify the details anyway, but I can see these being used by premium hotel chains in their London premium business hotels.

They've taken an expensive and quality product (other than LR reliability) and ruined it. That is fking hideous.
It might have taken 100's of man hours. That does not mean it is worth £100K+.
I could take 100's of hours assembling a big pile of dog poop in the park, that would not be worth £100k either

I agree with a lot of the comments. This has truly reached the level where more is more. "Enhancements" for the sake of it. £15k max for the wood, £5k for wheels and kit and that leaves......umm ££80k profit. Nice work if you are stupid enough to buy into it. SVO do much better job for fraction of cost.

The Oz wheels of this particular one are a hang over from its days as the ADI Engineering turbocharged demonstrator (and prior to that, supercharged), as shown in Evo magazine back in the day. I had it converted by Overfinch after issues with the 380bhp turbocharged engine. A money pit, but it went well! Used to use it as course car on rallies.Glad to see it's still going and has been tidied up, although not overly keen on the dark brown leather paint that's been used recently in the centre panels of the seats. The "F1" stitching in the front seats is not actually "F1", but "FI" for "forced induction", again from its ADI days.

I run a Range Rover as my daily driver.
I hate to disappoint you, but it's actually not that much of a quality product: the build quality, fit and finish is nothing like as good as the Mercedes S-class that I owned before (and which I'm planning to replace the RR with shortly).
No Range Rover, no matter how blinged-up, is worth £100K, much less £250K...
I don't know if you drive an L405 or L322, if you have the old car then it's not really fair to use that to judge the current ones and current list prices. If you have an L405, and a V8 one, then I am really surprised by your opinion.I hate to disappoint you, but it's actually not that much of a quality product: the build quality, fit and finish is nothing like as good as the Mercedes S-class that I owned before (and which I'm planning to replace the RR with shortly).

I personally think the L405 is a fantastic quality machine, there is honestly no other car I would rather have as a daily driver and I've tried pretty much every luxury car out there!!! A good spec V8 diesel or petrol is well worth the £100k list price in my opinion, and the amount of ~£100k Range Rovers you see driving around suggests there are a lot of other people who think so too.
I really like the quilted seats on this special edition, but not much else.

Interesting to hear from the owner from then! I saw the same car on eBay some time last year. It was there for £7,995 somewhere in Worcestershire, I think.

Shame that the market demands this sort of tat.
Kardashian edition next?
They've fallen a long way since the chevy conversions they used to do.

Yes, it's had a varied life since I had it, including being a wedding taxi in the Netherlands!I saw the same car on eBay some time last year. It was there for £7,995 somewhere in Worcestershire, I think.
The current seller had it up for £21,995 for a while, it looks like he's brought it down four grand. He's put an Overfinch 25th Anniversary sticker on it, that's not strictly true as it was done the following year really just as the engine replacement and new front clip to replace the droop snoot airdam that it used to have with a large intercooler in it (I've still got a spare airdam in my garage!). The brakes are the 6 pot AP Racing brakes that ADI fitted as opposed to Overfinch's four pots, and it's probably the only P38 RR with buttons on the steering wheel to change gear (although they are optional to use) again a hangover from its demo days.
In proper use showing the original front end - I don't think the "London Edition" would work so well for this
