I thought it all looked nicely done until I focussed on the steering wheel. Looks like its been covered by Stevie Wonder...
Hadn't noticed until you mention it... but what a mess.

Taste is subjective, but poor workmanship can't be excused.

Well most of the individuals I have ever seen coming out of the green doors could not even fit into the bloody over priced piece of nonsense laugh

As already said this is tenuous at best. I suppose if they have them by the tills you can pick one as impulse purchase!

Buyers in Asia. Harrods have been expanding in China, Singapore and HK the last few years. I'm sure Fernandez is expecting most of the customers to be new Asian money.

It actually looks great but as someone has said the stitching work wouldn't be acceptable on their cheapest product let alone this. Company would go far wrong in disposing of the sort of person who would think that level of 'craftsmanship' is remotely acceptable. After all, what else has that person let through?

I think I can kinda see why they did it. "Hey look at this toy you can buy, and you can make it all blingy too" but at the end of the day the Caterham isn't just very good for what they actually use their toys for; cruising the streets of London and showing off.

Let me know if Caterham do an Aldi edition smile
They already do; it's called the 160 isn't it?
Removes tongue from cheek smile
hehe

Great car, the 160, in fairness. If I were to own a Caterham (bucket list tbh) I'd want a bit more oomph, but I can see the appeal, it's a terrific wee thing.
Indeed hence the cheek/tongue sentiment. Steels, 6.5s 0-60 and 44mpg (by Car).

Not worth the money ,no doubt, but I think it looks great if the Harrods logos could be deleted.

Like it says in the article - this is an odd way to publicise the personalisation available from Caterham. Not just the wierd tie-in that it appears.
Thank goodness.

How much of that extra on the price is going to Harrods, to use their name.

So, they spend a few thousand pounds to do this as a one-off, bang out a few press releases and a YouTube video and suddenly the (PH) world is talking about Caterham and Harrods.

Any publicity is good publicity, isn't it...? You can't buy publicity on this scale so cheaply!

I wonder if this is some sort of bizarre 'response' to the Selfridges edition Morgan? Seems a bit like one upmanship at work to me.
