Got to be the Ferrari 250 LM. That car sounds better than any synthesized offerings of any modern car hands down. Just a pure mechanical orchestra on 4 wheels.

Good call on both counts there.

I remember the thumping feeling in the chest as those cars went past you. I remember watching an ALMS race where one of the corvettes was down to 7 cylinders - and it still sounded amazing. They had disconnected the ignition coil off that cylinder and just kept on racing.
