You could feel the rumble in the ground from that corvette as it came through Porsche Curves. Simply epic!

It is amazing how a certain sound can stick in your mind forever. A few unforgettable moments come to mind:
MK2 Escort BDA and E30 M3 rally cars back when I used to follow the Irish Tarmac Rallys. You always knew when they were coming!

An Enzo under hard acceleration from the Ferrari gates at Maranello.

A Carerra GT going up two gears and hitting the Rev limiter. That V10!

Lola Aston Martin LMP1 v12 noise is indelibly imprinted in my mind from Le Mans 2010.

It sounded just like a TIE fighter from a certain science fiction film series...
