leopard 2 on full tilt doesn't sound half bad either, 48 liter, 1500 hp V12 with straight very large pipes

Yes, you're right, especially the Pantera's and the Matra. Shame the Matra V12 wasn't used in their roadcars!

I remember watching their headers glow bright Orange in the dark at Les Mans back in the day.
They were the best sounding car on the track and you didn't need to look to know they were going passed.
