Which must surely lead on to someone mistakenly calling it a CLK-GTR or LM instead of a CLR.

I'll give props to PH for noting that 1998 was a CLK-LM.

Not sure. What I do know for sure is that in 2000, when I first drove the full circuit with the TVRCC parade laps, early on race day, the hump at the end of Mulsanne was still there, as was the old run up through the Dunlop Bridge down to Tertre Rouge. The change to the latter proved rather, erm, interesting when I return a couple of years later.
