Chaps,
I've always liked reading £100k garage, so how about '£20k Wrist'? Your aspirational or actual collection...

Rules are:

  • Model & Price (new or used) and reason e.g. Work watch.., I love James Bond, future investment etc
  • At least 2 watches
Pictures would be good...

To get us started:
My £20k wrist :

1. Rolex Submariner: £5k Daily watch, 30th birthday present to myself
2. Nomos Ludwig: £2.5k: dress watch
3. Vintage Omega constellation: £500: for Goodwood revival
4. Tudor Pelagos: £3.3k: tool watch, messing about, diy
5. Steinhart Ocean: £300: holiday watch
6. Rolex Yachtmaster II; £4k: messing about in boats
7. Tag Heuer Carrera: £3.4k: driving

Over to you....

Forget the aspirational bit, just pick the best £20k line-up you can.

Sorry I guesss I misunderstood the question by OP, just wanted to show my collection , its modest compared some guys on here. I have built it over some time trading and re trading watches .

The biggest outright cost was the Yachtmaster II I have coveted that for some time, I know it's marmite but I like it !!

I'll make mine the ones I'd keep if I had to liquidate that bulk of my collection. The last out the door should the need every arise.

16600 Sea Dweller - great all rounder

Dornbluth 99.1 my dress watch that I had made to order

Heuer Atavia Diver 100 and GMT - classic chronographs

Seiko 6309 - 7040 beater

My aspirational watches require a bigger budget.

Agree with previous poster- need a lot more than 20k for a good 4-5 watch collection.

With a budget of 20k;

IWC da vinci ceramic, (current pricing 7k second-hand)

+

Franck Muller King Conquistador in white gold (currently about 8k second hand)

+

Some sort of Rolex SS on a rubber strap for 5k (ish)

1 Patek aquanaut jumbo, 14k, have never owned one and I prefer this to a nautilus but it is expensive for time/date only. Would be worn as a weekend watch.

2 a ceramic SS Rolex for under 5k. At this moment in time probably only a non date sub or black GMT2 are within budget. Perfect daily.

3 seiko 5 cocktail time dress watch £250. It's a dress watch, so would prefer to spend money on watches 1 & 2 which would be worn more and not a handful of times.

4 G shock mudman £80 for gym, sports, and will take any abuse that can be thrown at it.

5 swatch sistem 51 £110 just because they are cheap and quite cool. Will probably only last a few years but a this price who cares.
