I've given up trying to find the right words. Anything I write would be inadequate. Genuine greatness.

It was very, very cringeworthy. Still is if you read some of the stuff on the TG threads.

Zanardi though, wow, what a person.

I'm intrigued to know how he drives a racing car with no legs. I guess everything is via hand controls? Anyone know how his setup works?

I think the current setup he has is a metal ring behind the wheel that he pulls towards him with his fingers to accelerate and then he uses one of his prosthesis attached to the pedal for the brakes. It's an interesting system, either he has aggressively servo assisted brakes or he has massive glutes, it's not easy to push down with any force when you have no knee.

You can get the accelerator that he uses and a similar braking system in a road car, I'd love to try it. It allows you to keep both hands on the wheel which isn't possible with a lot of hand control systems.

I think its throttle with left hand, brake with right (prosthetic) leg, and shift with right hand.

Hero is over used, not in his case.
