Diesel repmobiles.

They'll have invariably have been remapped, cover you in smoke the minute they see a straight andgo hard enough to make overtaking a pain in the arse. Then drive like miss daisy through any decent string of corners.
This without doubt. German ones especially as mr Audi S-line or BMW M kit thinks he is driving a sports car and will instantly go into race mode at the sight of a car coming up from behind. Completely ruins a nice drive. Worst happened to my brother, he overtook a Golf diesel on a twisty country road, by using corner speed to slingshot him in a straight bit. A few miles later my bro came into a village so naturally slowed down, the idiot in the Golf aggressively overtook him in the middle of a tight village going double the limit for no reason other than to get the win. Pathetic.

I'm going to say the Peugeot Bipper, Citroen Berlingo & Renault Kangoo. Generally a van driver is so far up your chuff it's unreal but these little stes seem intent on 25mph everywhere. I can only imagine that a prerequisite of the driver must be that they have mushy peas for brains.

Anyone who buys a van called a "Bipper" must be a royal fking retard by any stretch. Excuse, as I write this as a victim of taking 6miles of country lane 20mph just now.

Then of course there is, forgive me for saying, the invalid-looking versions of the above which are always driven atrociously. I can forgive people who have had these adapted for disabilities but, there should still be a line drawn when driving just isn't feasible or safe anymore for them.

I had a Fiat Qubo, same as a Bipper/Nemo, but with windows and seats in the back. I had the Fiat 1.3 diesel remapped (a heady 96bhp, and no black smoke), and it went quite well. I don't think I ever held anyone up, except for the "42mph everywhere" muppets in 30 zones.

I've also had a Jazz a couple of times as courtesy cars, and I did have to take it easy round corners or would've slid off the driver's seat.

I don't think people realise this when they complain about the Jazz. I swapped my Swift Sport for a Jazz not long ago, and it's just not possible to carry any speed with the Jazz. The steering has no feel and needs about 65 turns lock to lock, plus they wobble like a plate of jelly around the slightest bend. That's why they're driven slowly.

No, they drive slowly because 80% of them are owned by pensioners.

I think it is both of the above. Drove my mum's (pensioner) Jazz last week and Mercury's experience matches mine. Within less than a mile I had given up and was crawling along like my mum does.

That's hideous. The bulbs aren't even hidden, not that it would improve the look. At least it wouldn't blind everyone.

Contender for this thread imo http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Is that a trick of the light or does it have a chrome finish?

3 Honda Jazz's
You'll be pissed off when I keep up with you in mine.
I did 300 miles today half of it on B roads and as usual the worst offender was a Honda Jazz (in that light blue metallic colour). Got the full suite of flashing lights AND horn blast after a quick overtake on a short straight!
Not mine. They aren't fast cars, but you normally run out of driving license before they run out of power, as they are quite happy to cruise a long at 100mph. The problem I have is when I try to "make progress", Mr Powerfully-Built PH Director's cock shrinks when he sees a Jazz looming large in his leased, rear view mirror and makes if difficult to overtake.
hehe
I often find the same, whilst in my Jazz - nobody expects you to be driving any quicker than 40.

My heart does sink though when I come across another Jazz - even when in my own. Their drivers do tend to fulfil the stereotype.

To all comments, weird looking thing isn't it. I haven't see neon lights for 10yrs I don't think but, back in fashion...?

There's a good road before the motorway which I like to blast down now and then but this time from afar I see these weird lights. I thought it was a service vehicle or something until I realised it was moving. To be fair the driver's turn of speed was alright, but as I closed on a pitch black road it was difficult to see because the rear neon light hung about 2inch under the bumper; I could see the whole strip.

I think it was a V6 S, sounded like it but still, it is a lot of car to customise/splice wires into like that. It was also chrome wrapped.
