Are you not looking at RRS & FFRR so the £80k yes is high but if considering new versions of those cars then it's the budget
No mate, was looking at new macan and Q5 but if RR would have looked at near new, don't really wanna go too far over my Audi sale price as just had new Ducati very recently. I don't do pcp's or credit etc, so just gonna buy it, and don't really wanna pile loads more in. A bit more maybe, but just trying to keep it sensible

I originally put a deposit down on a petrol Macan over year ago and I wish I had went through with it, the test drive was (turbo) great. Instead, I went for what I had previously, a 535d, which in hindsight was a mistake but circumstances meant I had little choice.

Looking now, there looks like some great cars just released or about to be next year. GLC and GLC coupe with an AMG 43 version coming. Having seen but not driven the GLC it looks great and for me would be up there. Also new X3 next year.

So lets see:

F Pace - Like
New X3 next year
X4 - Yuck
GLC and GLC coupe - Like
Macan, must be due an tupdate/revision soon as the new Q5 will be out.

My heart says the Macan S petrol

Duck
Great car though, we have 335D for near four years, great car, fantastic engine.

You think the options list is bad, take your £80k+ car then check out the GFV depreciation over 2 and 3 years. It's mind-blowingly frightening! eek
That's gonna be the hardest bit of changing car, after 911's which have risen, and my Audi which has held steady, entering the world of big depreciation again.....scary, but I plan to keep next car a long time

The more I think about it the more I say go for the Macan - residuals are spot on, buy a new Diesel S with a decent spec but not too mental on the options. run it for a year then chop it in at not far off list for a 911 smile

Have a nose around www.macanownersclub.co.uk/forum/forums to get some decent insight.
Thanks but not sure that macan bubble will last, as I spoke to dealer today, and wait list is now only 4-5 months, so prices should start falling ??

Macan diesel waiting times have been down to only 4-5 months since early this year.

The V6 petrol models still have a 9-12+ month waiting time, and its those V6 petrol models that have the cast iron residuals, not the V6 diesel or 4 cyl petrol models.
Which makes it staggering when folk advertise 2 year old fairly low spec Macans with 30-40k miles on them at over £40k ?? Why would you buy used at them prices ??
