To be fair both the gearbox and AWD have been rebuilt in the last few years!
Good stuff sounds like you've got things in hand, keeping on top of maintenance is vital. What colour and spec have you gone for? Shortly I'll have productions numbers for the uk market in gearbox and colour

Nice and looks clean just on the face lift? Colour coded bumpers, I've got ghobi in the s60r, not sure how long it will stay clean, but I actually like it. I've got an attacama interior (90% of it for the s60r) but I doubt I'll fit it.
Quite fancy changing the interior for alcantara if one ever came up...jdleeso said:
I don't know what it is about fast volvos. I had a V50 D5 polestar and now have a v60 hybrid which is surprising quick with the D5 and electric for a little power boost
Yep that's the D6 it's actually approx as fast at the v70r in STD trim, but not as fast top speed, but they go well with both engines and I've driven one around the volvo track at the factory. Edited by jdleeso on Monday 24th October 20:16
Very nice! Gotta love that sonic blue color! I've had a few T5's (As the name suggests) but never owned an R... yet! My father bought a flash green V70R on a 53 plate back in '08. Absolutely loved it but the geartronic was much to be desired and he ended up trading it in for an audi a5 3ltr tdi
The residuals on R's are still strong!

I've always loved Q cars .. hence my ownership from new of an Audi RS6 Avant.
Volvos have always been underpowered for me, compared to the RS6 (450bhp) and the Merc E63s.
Delighted to see this V70R taking the crown, and Volvo's decision to start offering Polestar performance on some models.
Volvo can beat all the German brands !

Got to love a q car, I did look at the audi's but was concerned with some of the gearbox issues, then again all cars have there own issues.Volvos have always been underpowered for me, compared to the RS6 (450bhp) and the Merc E63s.

They for sure could be a bit quicker and responds well to tuning, I've seen a few 500bhp ones but 350-400 makes them about as quick as an RS4.
Volvo have def come on since leaving ford with a good strong line up and possibly one of the most powerful STD 2.0 diesels currently 235bhp ish
Onwards and upwards hopefully
