Ford Or Vauxhall? Which Is Worse

The only 2 cars from that list that are even sold here are the VXR8 and the Stang. No UK GM product is any good IMO. At least Ford appear to be made by car guys in some way.
Not true, you can buy the Camaro here, not sure about the Corvette, I think you can. Only one dealer in the country though. This new Insignia looks quite nice. Still wouldn't though.

The Falcon is a car I think Ford missed a trick with here in the UK especially as you could get it in 4.0 Turbo or V8 form it's a car that's on my list to have but in XR6 Turbo form.
They were watching how the VXR8 sold in the UK (it didn't), before deciding. Lack of a diesel option really killed it for UK/Europe, and axing Pontiac did it for the VE in the US, and the import restrictions killed the VF.The interiors on the Fords are fairly poor, and defo a step behind the new VF.
Last Ford rolled off the production line a few weeks back. The last V6 VF too, apparently. The V8 will finnish soon.
But the Barra engine is awesome. Shame that it couldn't be used in something like the new TVR (I6 Turbo and a Ford V8).

Ford Or Vauxhall? Which Is Worse? Vauxhall. Performance Ford yes, VXR8 yes, cooking versions of either, no. But if pushed I'd normally pick a Ford over a Vauxhall, the exception being a Mokka over an Ecosport...all things relative though.
Always had a soft spot though for the Carlton Mk2/Senator B models of the 80s/90s.

Ford was watching to see if the VE & VF sold well internationally. It didn't. The US played games and couln't sell many as they were imports, a lack of diesel option killed it for Euro sales.
Ford interiors were worse than the Holdens. The UK loves their soft touch plastics.
Too late now anyway, as Ford are not making any more Falcons, and Holden are packing up next year.
The Ford 4.0 I6 engine was great, and a shame it couldn't continue in another format.
And back to topic, Euro spec GM and Ford are pretty unappealing (to me). As it's full of tiny, small engined hatchbacks. All the good stuff is US based now.

The US gets the "Mondeo" (called the fusion over there) with a 325hp 2.7l v6 twin turbo (with AWD). What do we get? A 240hp 2.0l i4 single turbo.
