Favourite thread of the year!
It's not been done yet as it's still very mild, not seen any gritters as of yet! I used to run it as a game, where the car had to been clean and the start and then who ever goes the longest without cleaning wins.
My fiesta is filthy as is my golf. Will have to get pics

Imo the OP's car isn't dirty so does not count either. Mine is as 'dirty' after one journey to work!Got it, thanks
Dirty is when you have to clean the reg plate so its legible, clean the lights so their visible & clean the windows so you can see what's going on around you!!

I had to do that the other day. 4x4 mud pluggers or supercars driven through a muddy field 5 minutes before the photograph was taken don't count.
What's needed are cars with genuine seasoned on road dirt, brought on by many miles and many months of not cleaning the car. Baked on brake dust on the alloys, scrape marks in the dirt along the sides of the car due to contact with hedgerows along narrow lanes, diesel stains in the dirt around the filler cap, and hand marks around the door handles. And extra points for a fly splattered windscreen and headlamps to prove that the car is really leading a hard life
