Probably not allowed..but in the spirit of not washing one's motor: my Lpg Cayenne S, bought in summer. The PO is the last person to have washed it..I never have :-)

Yep, that's it. Problem is once you clean the car and place the wipers back on the screen, it drags them back down to parked position, usually leaving streaks.

For the 'county' set having a dirty Volvo estate or 4 x 4 is obligatory to prove how rural & 'of the earth' you are. A desperate attempt to be accepted by proper country folk.
For the upper class 'townies' with their Evoques & other similar vulgar lumps to wash a car is too frightfully suburban darling. After all to be seen to be careless about keeping ones possessions nice & clean is to confirm that one is rich enough not to care. Better let the au pair do the job unseen by neighbours of course or at worse use those foreign car wash chaps at Waitrose.

Not sure if serious. I've washed Range Rovers (I've owned) often enough, and I do know the difference between a Bordeaux and a claret.
