I had a run to Edinburgh and back this weekend just gone. I feel like I cheated as I cleaned the front and rear lights on the way back down the A19, but this is it just before jet washing on my return to York on Sunday:

Even better that it's a 50th anniversary, most of which seem to be garage queens - please tell me it's a manual, instead of the usual PDK.

Certainly not a garage queen - 30k of hard miles done so far! PDK i'm afraid but horses for courses and all that.....

All 50th Anniversary 911s I've seen (advertised or in the metal) seem to be PDK - If I had the money I'd love a manual one, the special details are just stunning on that car (I don't have the money so its not really an issue). I'm just glad to hear your using it as it was intended.

There's a manual one in the classifieds at the moment....

Fair play to you lot with the seriously filthy cars, especially that Ferrari!!

I tend to wash my daily every other weekend, weather permitting so mine never really gets that dirty. I admire anyone who can have a filthy car but I just can't leave it if I've got the chance to clean it, I will.

Right, no three-year old pic from me. At the end of October mine had it's annual pre-winter wash, clay, polish and wax in preparation:



The local lanes I have to drive down every day turn into a complete quagmire as soon as the leaves start dropping off the trees, so I now shan't bother washing it until at least Christmas. I'll take an 'after' shot when the time comes, which should be pretty minging if the last couple of years are anything to go by
