Our December run, London to Wales (Brecon / Snowdonia / Bala & the Evo triangle) with track day at Anglesey & then back to London! Saturday to Sunday, just under 1000 miles, anyway here's a few...

Results in some pretty clean cars...

Not even comparable to some on here, this was after a 260 miles trip on Saturday.

I gave it a wash on Tuesday morning though so it's clean. Can't help but prefer it grime free.

Some horrific cars lol

It is a pain but much better to keep on top of the car over winter...

Listen if your numberplate is remotely legible then your car is nowhere near dirty enough to post on this thread.
Unless you're sensible and clean your plate and lights, I always keep my lights and my plate clean.

As dirty as I've ever let it get. Would love to get a jetwash on her but there's no point at the moment, the roads are just so wet and dirty.

Are you not at all concerned that your rear number plate can barely be seen?

I'd have thought that is an ideal opportunity for the police to pull you (if there are any traf pol actually out on the roads these days!!)

I just can't have a filthy car, it seems so wrong. I washed the daily at the weekend and since then it has done about 100 miles. I was going to try and leave it until the weekend an perhaps go so far as posting a picture in this thread but I just couldn't do it. Hence the car has been washed/dried this evening and whilst it is far from my normal standard at least I can see out of all the windows and won't get dirty hands just opening the door/boot.

Are you not getting fed up with how dirty your fingers must be every time you open the boot???

Is there not a handle on the inside of the door? I can't stand pulling down on the lip of the boot, and leaving a load of grubby finger prints.

Since when did your car being dirty become a challenge? laugh

I'd post a picture of my van if it wasn't for the company livery - I believe in keeping my work and personal life completely separate. I'd say it's in the same league as the bmw above and I'm beginning to become annoyed with my dirty fingers laugh

We were on a budget, so some second hand mud plugger Chinese remoulds used previously in the French off-road championship and drilled out Speedline rims off an Evo. Did the job, but the road noise was pretty brutal. No punctures which was the critical thing. Another shot here - the blue tape attempted to reduce gravel rash.

Loving that. What is the full spec of the car?
This needs a write up in it's own thread - would make an interesting read
