Apologies for sun glare... Little bit grimy at moment...
I love a dirty car on winter steels.

Steelies add to the dirty effect... Hard to believe pristine under the dirt and fully treated with many gtechniq products! (And will be fully detailed over the hols!)

How's everyone getting their cars so filthy?! Are you driving in the verges and ditches?

This en route back from a (not so, by the looks of the car) dirty weekend in the Lakes with Mrs Digga. Hundreds of miles done and not showing the grime
I drove about 415 miles last week up to Scotland. There was hardly any dirt at all on my car when I stopped for fuel after 400 miles, then the last 15 miles I followed a convoy of trucks on a dirty country road and the car now looks like it has completed a rally stage.

Pffff keep driving lads

Yeah but how do we know that's not just a crap matt black wrap? hehe
hehe great riposte

Most of that is probably soot, every GT-R I've ever been behind chucks clouds of it out every time the driver gets on the throttle a bit. Which in a GT-R, is very hard not to do.

My poor commuter Fiesta is filthy, just running back and forth along country lanes and roads being heavily used by construction vehicles. Intriguingly the colour of the front wheels is brown from mud, most cars I see are black from brake dust.

Trucks; makes perfect sense.

Looked a lot worse (better?) when the grime was still all damp and wet. Anyway, this was 400 miles worth over the past couple of days. It was immaculate beforehand.

500 miles to and from West Wales - this is my pathetic entry - can't stand it being THIS dirty, so straight back out to clean.

Sad ;-)

Here's my effort, nearly as bad as it looked after Rally GB!
I did however give it a quick pressure wash today to hopefully remove some of the salty ste deposited underneath.... getmecoat

Cleaned the car and it went from pic.1 to pic.2 in a couple of days. Almost no point cleaning it at this time of year.

The muck on mine was coming on lovely but I had to clean it yesterday as my youngest had drawn smiley faces in the dirt. Little git!

Today's outing got it pretty dirty. Can't see me washing it soon! Not raining, top down, that's the rule, right?

Excuse the rear brake discs, needs to be looked at. Seems they are not binding over the whole disc. Makes heavy breaking fun!

It carried on, but I got frustrated with it, so had to clean it. Humm shiny.

Do you find any mud etc. gets flicked into the cabin when driving on these roads with the roof down?

Nothing. Only get a bit of water from the screen tops corners, when cars in front spray up.

This is no fun with a silver car. Might have to give in and wash it soon.
