Your first mistake was admitting guilt. Surely a fellow of your experience knows to park such things 'off-site' until such time as their appearance is deemed acceptable?
I know a chap who had 5 or 6 Aston's that his other half never knew about. Everyone was much happier that way.
Trouble for me is, she holds all the codes to the online banking accounts...and I don't. I had to get her to pay the dealer over the phone.I know a chap who had 5 or 6 Aston's that his other half never knew about. Everyone was much happier that way.
There's absolutely no way to get around that barrier. You can dig as many 'Great Escape' Tom, Dick and Harry tunnels; build as many Colditz gliders as you like...you're not getting out of this Lager. This is Gestapo 2017-style.
For me..."The War is over"... years ago.

I 'offered' (!) to sell the Huntsman to buy a Tiger Moth, seemed sensible enough to me. Mrs H put her foot down, no light air craft, no winged flying suits and no motorcycles, but I could have unlimited boats and cars. There's absolutely no way to get around that barrier. Forgive the super nerd reference, but this sums it up nicely: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFpwGW697-AHuntsman said:

As you can imagine, Ian...given today's events, as described above, the atmosphere chez nous this evening is somewhat....Frosty!

It's the other way about for me.
The wife keeps asking me when am I buying another car.
I'm on the iPad every night checking the classifieds.
Trouble is I cannot make up my mind what I want.
Hopefully going to view a couple of possibilities on Thursday work permitting,

Looks like a very good buy the Z4M. Well done. If your house is much like mine, you'll be used to the cold by now.
The fact that after some years of losses (or at least flat-lining) that I did actually make a significant profit for my efforts by selling the E34 540i back to the chap I bought it from last week seems (strangely) to have become either very quickly forgotten or indeed completely inadmissible evidence in my defence.
Who's side are you on here?
Or did I miss the episode where you built another garage ?

Yeah...and who's side are you on as well!?
Yours, obviously I've been tasked with replacing the Disco3 with a FFRR at many, many multiples of thread budget, but I'm stalling and looking for options. A chuffing great X351 XJ SuperSport keeps popping into searches but I keep dithering.
Massively over budget and not buying anything. I should hang my head in shame.
Now, what I did...and this is "Advanced Stuff"...in a semi-Huntsman style is this:
Rather than the "Stick and Carrot" approach, I employed the "Stick and Stick" approach i.e. the lesser of two evils.
So, some of you may know I that I have this mega-low mileage 8-Series? It's just been valued at a decent amount of money. So, when this pops up (and is even very local...like 10 mins away!) and I say I might buy it as well and you were trying to put a brake on me wouldn't you cash your chips in at me spending half that amount of money on a Z4M and think you've done 'ok' in averting a major financial crisis?

You have obviously done this before.
As a change from the norm and probably not really a smoker barge...despite its 2.8 V6 engine with manual box, rear "multimedia" and fold down tables, these have always held a weird appeal to me (but only as a 2.8) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

You could use this one for tip runs for a year, then at the end of the year, just leave it at the tip.

3.4L 'bored out' N52 i.e to the max of it's capabilities
The Alpina has it's advantages and disadvantages. I looked into this quite closely before I bought my 3.0Si a couple of years ago.
The Alpina is definitely cheaper to own than a Z4M...lower tax, cheaper servicing etc. But more fragile. 19" wheels don't really do it any favours on our roads but the springs are standard "Si" springs.
blimey if the Si springs ride like that the M must be spine jarring, my colleagues one has a very hard ride. The Alpina has it's advantages and disadvantages. I looked into this quite closely before I bought my 3.0Si a couple of years ago.

We will ignore the nastiness of the first one you posted and instead focus on how utterly glorious this is:http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

I've had a love for the original Galaxy ever since I was 6 years old and this is bringing it all back. Stunning.
I wouldn't buy it of course, because it would be st.
