I need to change my sim only deal for all the family. Currently with Tesco which uses 02 and have been fine. Good coverage, never had any issues but I seem to be paying more than I should for what I get.
500 mins, 5K texts and 1BG is costing roughly £35 per month across three phones.
Looking at plusnet mobile which is 1500 mins, unlimited text and 4GB for £10 per month or Talk mobile are offering 3000mins, 5K text and 4GB also for £10.
Are there any companies to avoid or are they all as good/bad as each other? Wasn't it Talk mobile that were hacked recently?

I think you mean Mobile Networks.
The main 4 are EE, 3, O2 and Vodafone.
The only one I would avoid is Vodafone.
Many smaller Network Providers use the main 4. giffgaff uses O2, as an example.
Check to see what coverage is like in your area and go from there. A good deal can be had with pretty much all providers.
